As my little guy's 4th birthday is soon approaching I have been looking back at older pictures of him to reminisce. Time has flown by so fast. I am so proud of this little boy. He is my hero! I love every thing about him. Looking back at some of his older pictures I have even missed his older smile at times, but the one thing that remains the same is that wonderful personality that shows through those beautiful eyes. I look forward to watching him grow as our journey continues...A Little Blessing
My name is Brandon Burditt. I was born with a bilaterral cleft lip and cleft palate. I had three surgeries in my first year of life; but that hasn't stopped me. Some say I am a little charmer; I love to cuddle, laugh, and play.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...
This post is a couple weeks late, but life is busy sometimes...So sorry. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year. Brandon is doing great. He is expanding his vocabulary, working on his articulation, and growing a little more each day. I am so amazed at what a great little boy he is. He makes my heart smile every day. Despite having some challenges to face here and there, he is always upbeat and is figuring out how to problem solve. :) He continues in special needs preschool, speech therapy, and gets his nightly growth hormone shot. We still have regular visits with our pediatrician and endocrinologist, along with yearly visits with the cleft team and geneticist. Busy...busy, but he is worth it!

Farewell Miss Nicole...
Tonight we had to say goodbye to Brandon's speech therapist. It was bitter-sweet. She has been amazing with Brandon and will be missed greatly, but we are happy for her as she moves on to new opportunities. We hope to see you again sometime. :)

Soccer time...
To say that Brandon is a sports fanatic is an understatement. I can honestly say I have never seen such young child so in love with sports...any sport. He is not a TV watcher unless ESPN highlights are on or daddy is watching a sporting event. When football is on he goes to get his helmet and football to wear and play with as he watches the game. When baseball is on he gets his bat and ball and practices...same goes for basketball. Friends of ours understand why we have a basketball hoop in the living room. Soccer is no exception. At his age, this is about all we can get him signed up for as far as team sports. It's a great start and today was his first game. He is definitely a little "go-getter" :)
